This work is by Bogdan Zwir,a photographic artist from St. Petersburg, Russia. The most amazing thing is that he did not recieve any special education in either photography or arts. His secret is to invent unreal life with the realistic perfomance. Bogdan looks at pictures as at the real creatures with their past, present and future. All of them have some questions left; it is not always obvious if it is a photo or painting in his works. I picked the one above because, as a Russian, I think I can understand what the artist was trying to express. It doesn't say any details about the programs he uses. He brings "absurd" to its sense, that's how I would express his work.

  1. Yes, the work raises questions in the viewer... it is open ended, allowing the viewer to fill in the blanks.

Joseph Stalin stares imperiously down on the scene right uner him. Why is her dress hanging there. Is it beyond her reach and is she unable to put it on?
